Position: Assistant Housekeeping Manager
As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will support the Housekeeping leadership team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest service throughout the resort. You will play an important role in ensuring guest rooms, villas, public areas and back-of-house facilities consistently meet luxury hospitality standards.
The successful candidate should have strong housekeeping knowledge, excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Attention to detail, effective communication and a genuine passion for hospitality are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in the daily operation of the department.
- Supervise housekeeping colleagues and ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Monitor guest rooms, villas and public areas to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training and daily task allocation.
- Respond professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and other departments when required.
- Ensure housekeeping procedures, safety standards and resort policies are followed.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, equipment and inventory.
- Support inspections and quality-control activities.
- Encourage teamwork and deliver excellent guest experiences.
Ideal Candidate
Candidates should have relevant experience in a luxury hotel or five-star resort housekeeping department, preferably in an international hospitality environment. Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities will be highly valued.
